About Me

Born in Kolkata, my upbringing was shaped as I skimmed through dozen-odd schools, adapting and moulding to various situations, experiencing varied customs and traditions, learning new languages and tasting new cuisines. Like the herd of confused teenagers of my generation, I got a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Later, I washed up on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra to do my post-graduate.

During my stint at IIT Guwahati, I started writing primarily to cope with internal conflicts and as an outlet to vent my built-up emotions. Since then, I have not stopped.

Besides writing, I love travelling, exploring new places and meeting new people. I also fiddle around with my guitar, singing and writing songs. I love going on long walks and publishing irregular blog posts. I’m working on a collection of short stories, a novella, and a novel.
